Meet the Mentors
Dr. Annie Baltazar Mori OTD, OTR/L
licensed pediatric occupational therapist
Throughout her career, Dr. Annie Bltazar Mori OTD, OTR/L has had the honor of receiving advanced training and extensive mentorship in sensory integration, as well as teaching related courses both nationally and internationally alongside leading experts in the field. She was an instructor in the former USC/WPS Advanced Training in Sensory Integration program and currently teaches with the CL-ASI Advanced Training Program.
She recently served as Chairperson of the Sensory Integration Special Interest Section of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), where she and her committee worked diligently to ensure that the distinct value of sensory integration within occupational therapy was communicated across the organization.
In addition, she was an adjunct instructor in the Autism Certificate Program at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. As a past Director of Program Development at Pediatric Therapy Network, she designed and implemented evidence-based therapy practices.
Drawing on these experiences, she founded her own clinical practice, playSense, in Redondo Beach, CA. There, her team has developed innovative and successful approaches to delivering the highest quality occupational therapy programming—emphasizing the importance of meaningful experiences in the everyday lives of both children and their families.
